Halo 2

Halo 2 has been restored on Insignia Live and can now be played in the Public Beta.

Original Disk: We strongly encourage you to use an original disk version of Halo 2, as there are some issues with using backups from your HDD.

Requirements

In order to play online, your game must have been updated to Auto Update 5 (v1.5). Additionally, you must have installed all three available map packs.

All updates and map packs may be downloaded by inserting the disk and updating it from the title screen after signing into Xbox Live. Once you've signed into Xbox Live, you can download the maps via the Xbox Live menu by selecting "Content Download".

Note that title updates and content downloads may not work when running the game from the HDD, and using the disk version is recommended.
